Girls on the Run invites you to 'Fall Fun Run'

Girls on the Run is a "life-changing, non-profit positive youth development program" for girls ages 8 through 13. Its mission is "to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living," which they do using a 24-lesson curriculum culminating in a 5k run.

They will hold their "Fall Fun Run" November 17, starting at 10 a.m., in Sunset Park and invite you to join them. Cost is $20, $30 for a parent and child. There's more information here.
