Camp Solari helps kids who've lost a sibling or parent
Mar 7, 2014
When a child or teen loses a parent or sibling, they may have trouble coping with the grief and anxiety that follow. Camp Solari, sponsored by the non-profit Solari Hospice Foundation, offers a nurturing, healing, safe sanctuary where children ages 6 to 17, along with their surviving caregivers, can turn for help.
The next Camp Solari will be held May 3-5 at Mt. Charleston Lodge. Bereavement professionals from Las Vegas-based Clear View Counseling will orchestrate and lead all grief camp activities. Camp Solari is free to participants.
The deadline to apply is March 11. To apply, donate, or get more information, go here.
