Nevada Public Radio Recycling Day

Recycling Day

Saturday November 15, 8 a.m. - noon
in our parking lot at C-S-N (1289 S. Torrey Pines Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89146)
add to your calendar

RecycleGot old paperwork? We'll shred it! Got magazines, aluminum cans and plastic, or appliances? We'll recycle it! Got an old computer or outdated cell phone? We'll wipe it and repurpose it - safely and securely! Need to clean out your closet to make room for new holiday clothes or have some old furniture that you don't use anymore? We will also take all your gently used clothing, furniture, toys, and more.

New this year - Turn in your unused or expired medications for safe confidential disposal and destruction. Excess medicines in the home are the leading cause of accidental poising and flushed or trashed medicines can pollute our drinking water. Rates of prescription drug abuse are alarmingly high – over half of teens abusing medicines get them from a family member or friend, including the home medicine cabinet, and often without their knowledge. Dispose your medication the right way, whether they are 'over-the-counter' or prescription we will take them, we will even take the prescription bottle. For more information, please call Officer Robert Mayer at 702-366-5244 or 702- 799-7830.
